Welcome to the website of the Rotary Club of Greater Bend.
We’ve worked hard this past year to make our website friendly, useful and informative for you.
Our club was chartered in 1976 by a group of dedicated and resourceful business leaders who saw Rotary as a way to effect a positive change for people, especially children in Bend, around our region and around the world. Over the past 34 years we’ve raised and distributed over $1.2 million to build parks, to help with Rosey Baris Center, Boys and Girls Club, Volunteers in Medicine, the new Centennial Park on Reed Market Rd. and many other projects.
Rotary International Foundation is also on a quest to completely eradicate polio worldwide and will accomplish this with the help of our 1.2 million Rotary members around the world. Rotary has recently added a fifth Avenue of Service: New Generations….geared toward recognizing the value of our youth and their contribution to all we do. If you are a person, young or old, who is interested in joining an organization that is actively working around the world to promote peace and understanding, to provide clean water and sanitation facilities, to educate and promote children’s causes and a better way of life, please contact us so that we may introduce you to Rotary.
