Fellowship: An Important of the Club

Charter Night - Charter Night is one of the most special events for members since it celebrates when the club was first formed back in 1976. It is a fun evening with spouses/partners welcome and typically includes a visit from a Rotary dignitary or other motivational speaker. It is also a time to recognize Paul Harris awardees (club members who have made a significant donation/donations to Rotary International). One of the highlights from Charter Night is when the winner of the Instant Wine Cellar Raffle is drawn – often by our foreign exchange student.

Fireside Chat - The Fireside Chat is a tradition that has endured over the years as a fun, social activity that provides new members with a brief history of the Club and a more detailed explanation of the various opportunities for involvement. Hosted in a club member’s house, this is an entertaining, informal way to learn about community and international projects, club activities and find common interests.

Club Picnic - who doesn’t like a party! The Rotary Club of Greater Bend holds a special Club Picnic during the summer which is open to spouses/partners and children of all ages. It’s a great way to socialize in a comfortable setting.

Happy Hour

Happy Hour - Once a month, all members of the Greater Bend Rotary Club along with their spouses, significant other or friend meet at a local restaurant.  It is an opportunity for Rotarians to get to know one another better in a more casual setting and to invite prospective club members that may be interested in learning more about
