  Rod Ray

Mosaic Medical is a private, non-profit, community-based, community-supported, and community-governed network of Central Oregon health centers that provide quality care for all regardless of life circumstances. Mosaic offers a network of 15 health centers across Bend, Redmond, Madras and Prineville and serves a patient base of 27,000 individuals – meeting patients where they are – physically, culturally, and financially.

Rod Ray is Board Treasurer for Mosaic Medical and the former Chief Executive Officer at Bend Research, Inc., where he worked for over 30 years. Rod helped build and grow Bend Research before it was acquired by Capsugel in 2013 (which was later acquired by Lonza).

Rod now brings his leadership and strategic planning skills to bear as a consultant for companies and individuals seeking to learn about change, change management, operational excellence and leadership. Having over 40 years’ experience with the inter-workings of one of Bend’s oldest and landmark technology companies, welcoming and transitioning through change has been the foundation to Dr. Ray’s success as a leader. He holds a master’s degree and doctorate in chemical engineering from the University of Colorado and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Oregon State University.
